Bakersfield Barber College is a great school. Please keep in mind, if you come here for a haircut, it will be done by a student. Please be considerate, they are learning a skill, they are not professionals yet.

I went down there today after work. Honestly one of the best haircuts I’ve had in a long time. Jake took his time to make every hair perfect. Definitely ask for him if you get a chance. Nice school and the instructor I met was very friendly and informative.

We have been getting cut by Javi, who trained at Bakersfield Barber College, and I can confidently say his work speaks volumes about the education and discipline they instill there. My partner and I couldn’t have more different hairstyles, yet Javi consistently renders both looks. He doesn’t just maintain what we already have—he’s always leveling up his craft, offering ideas and tweaks that take our styles to the next level.

What I appreciate most is how invested he is in growth. Every cut shows his improving skill, and it’s clear he takes pride in mastering his trade. Bakersfield Barber College deserves recognition for setting him on this path, and Javi deserves credit for his dedication to it. As long as he’s around, he’s our barber.
